HK Partner, Jay M. Herman, To Speak on Golf Taxation at NGCOA Luncheon

Herman Katz, LLP a leader in property tax litigation, is proud to announce that partner Jay M. Herman, a prominent attorney with over forty-five years of expertise in property valuation litigation, has been invited to speak at two prestigious, local luncheons sponsored by the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA). These events will address the latest challenges and developments impacting golf course operations and ownership.
Jay Herman will discuss developments in the tax assessments of golf course properties and explore recent court decisions of interest. His presentation is aimed at providing attendees with an understanding of the current landscape and offering valuable insights into this ongoing issue.
Joining Jay is Jeffrey R. Dugas, MAI, SGA of Leisure Appraisal, a distinguished golf course appraiser. Together, they will shed light on the valuation processes and legal nuances relevant to golf course owners and operators.
The luncheons were scheduled for May 1, 2024, at Sleepy Hollow Country Club and May 2, 2024, at The Heritage at Bethpage, but have been postponed until some time in the Fall of 2024.
