Filing Deadline For ASIE Statement In Nassau County Is April 1, 2025
March 6, 2025 | Property Tax

Nassau County requires owners of class 4 “income-producing property” and property that is owner-occupied, under construction, and/or sold or purchased during each calendar year to file an Annual Survey of Income and Expense (ASIE Statement) on each applicable property. As a reminder, the filing deadline on your ASIE Statement for the 2024 year is April 1, 2025. Please note that Nassau County requires filing to be completed in advance of this deadline.
Currently, property owners can view the status of their 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 filings on the ASIE filing portal. Property owners who have not yet filed for these years are still able to do so. However, status checks for 2018 and earlier filings are not available at this time. We strongly recommend each property owner check the status of their filings, and file if you have not already done so.
The filing is imposed upon all owners of commercial property in Nassau County and is independent of the tax appeals you have commenced. HK cannot access the forms and we cannot file the forms for our clients, but we ask that you provide us with a copy so that we are aware of what information the County has been provided on your property.
At Herman Katz, we are always here to help and remain committed to providing you with the best service possible. If you have any questions or need guidance regarding your ASIE filing or property tax matters, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
If you believe the status of your filing is inaccurate, please contact the ASIE Department at:

As a reminder, separate statements must be filed for each parcel, except that a consolidated statement may be filed where one or more tax lots are:
(1) operated together as an economic unit (or otherwise related for valuation purposes), and/or
(2) under common ownership and are contiguous, or within the same, or an adjacent tax block.
Additionally, Nassau County requires that a rent roll be filed with the statement where applicable. Please note that the law as it is currently written imposes penalties for failing to file, or filing improperly, among other defaults. The ASIE Statement MUST be filed electronically via the Nassau County website. The electronic filing forms for all years and instructions are available on the Nassau County website and may also be accessed at this time at https://apps.nassaucountyny.gov/asie/.
